  2. My dear Marilina

OMG…i agree and i admit publicly that l have also sinned during the holidays!
Really, who can ever resist panetone and zeppoli (ours are similar but called “cudrurilli”) at Christmas!?!? Its a delicious tradition that is soooo difficult to ignore and avoid.
This holiday only comes once a year; and these specialties are never made again for 365 days!
I say, allow and forgive yourself! However, the test is allowing yourself one of each (ok maybe 2) then being able to walk away.

I admit i find it difficult to stop once ive had one of anything delicious sinful; but now all i do is pull up a pic of myself from last Christmas (which i hated and more importantly; how awful i felt)
This is my deafening whistle saying ” OK STOP!”
I admire the truth that you blog; and although u make me chuckle at your honest and descriptive stories, i can truly relate and also feel the pain.
So, tomorrow is another day. Get up and dust yourself off, partner!
We are all here for you, and will help you get back in the saddle!! šŸ™‚
    HAPPY NEW YEAR
    Luv ya,
    Zee

  3. Thanks Zee – there’s more to confess in the next food journal post šŸ˜¦

I’m surprised I haven’t caved with the chips and chocolate in nearly a month, but it’s those darn seasonal treats that got me! I think I was trying to justify it by telling myself that I won’t see them again until next year, but sadly, they’ll be hanging off my hips for months after Santa is gone šŸ˜¦
